Energy Conservation Indicators, 1986

摘要

This report presents a summary and analysis of historical energy consumption trends and other data relative to the intensity of energy use in the United States. National and regional data are presented for the residential, commercial, transportation, and industrial economic sectors and for the aggregate of all sectors. Energy consumption data are adjusted for changes in economic, demographic, weather, and other variables, to focus on energy efficiency trends. This report was designed for a variety of uses, ranging from a reference guidebook on energy data and related statistical sources to an analytical tool which identifies some of the underlying factors that affect the intensity of energy consumption. The report is distributed to local and state governments, the Executive Branch, private industry, and to the public. (ERA citation 13:024552)
