Vacuum Uv Radiation Arising from Multiphoton Ionization of Rare Gases.

We report the observation of very high order odd harmonics of Nd-YAG laser radiation in rare gases. The harmonic spectrum extends up to the 33rd order (32.2 nm) for Ar. The harmonic intensity falls very slowly beyond the fifth harmonic as the order increases. (ERA citation 14:016240)
