Electron Cyclotron Resonance Heating Experiments on TFR. TFR-Group and FOM-ECRH Team

A joint Euratom-CEA, Euratom-FOM ECRH program was conducted on the TFR tokamak during 1985 and 1986, with 600 KW of ECR power at 60 GHz. This paper describes the experiments done during this period, and analyses the results. The topics addressed were: heating and transport, MHD stabilization, suprathermics and current drive, pellet ablation during ECRH. (ERA citation 14:007081)
