PYTHON - The Monte Carlo for Deep Inelastic Leptoproduction. Short Write Up

As its name indicates, this is a relative to the Lund Monte Carlo for hadronic interactions - PYTHIA. It performs parton shower evolution in deep inelastic scattering which results in a complete event on the partonic level. Subsequent fragmentation into hadrons may be done using the Lund string fragmentation scheme. The basic hard interaction processes, neutral and charged currents, are included, together with a theoretically well developed scheme for parton showers where the first order QCD matrix element is used as a guideline for hard emission.
