Determination of Momentum Distributions from Deep Inelastic Neutron Scattering Experiments: A Bayesian Study.

A Bayesian analysis shows that the determination of momentum distributions in quantum fluids and solids by deep inelastic neutron scattering is an extremely ill-posed problem.
