Path-Integral Formulation of Supersymmetric String Theory

The loop corrections to superstring scattering amplitudes are studied. An explicit construction of the partition and correlation functions of all the string fields on an arbitrary ordinary Riemann surface is given in terms of theta-functions. The amplitudes of the space-time supersymmetry current are studied. These are shown to contain unphysical singularities. 94 refs.; 4 figs. (Atomindex citation 20:024923)
