Preparation of yBa2Cu30(7-delta) from homogeneous metal alkoxide solution.

摘要

This thesis is concerned with the penetration of the high T(sub c) superconductor yBA2Cu30(7-delta) from metal alkoxide solution. Due to the complexity of this multicomponent alkoxide system, a great deal of time and effort has been expended towards the formulation of a system of precursors suitable for solution preparation. A major portion of the time was devoted to preparing a soluble copper alkoxide. As a result, emphasis will be placed on the chemical aspects of the work, but detailed results of the material properties of the thin-layers and powders will also be discussed.
