摘要

Organo(poly)siloxanes readily react with aluminum alkyls, e.g., with triethylaluminum (AlR(sub 3)), at elevated temperatures, with cleavage of the otherwise very stable Si-O-Si bond to form the so far unknown alkylaluminum silanolates. The behavior of the mono-, di-, and trifunctional siloxanes (R(sub 2)SiO(sub 0.5), R(sub 2)SiO, R(sub 2)SiO(sub 1.5)), which are involved in the structure of silicones, toward triethylaluminum at temperatures of up to approx. 250(degree)C was investigated. For comparison purposes, SiO(sub 2) was also included in the series of experiments. 14 refs.
