摘要

The problem of isotopic analysis of bulk plutonium through spectroscopy of the 640-keV gamma-ray complex has been studied with a series of simulations. Scaling rules are presented that relate statistics required for the analysis, to the influence of variables such as peak width, signal-to-noise ratios, and contamination of the plutonium with sup 241 Am. 8 refs., 8 figs.
