Monte Carlo Calculations of the Vacuum Compton Detector Sensitivities.

Monte Carlo simulations have been carried out to compute the static sensitivity of the vacuum Compton detector for monoenergetic gamma rays and electrons. A similar calculation using (60)Co spectrum as input is found in good agreement with measurements. We also calculate the detector sensitivities for bremsstrahlung spectra produced by monoenergetic e-beam and compare with experimental data. 8 refs., 6 figs.
