Cyclic CO2 Injection for Light Oil Recovery: Performance of a Cost Shared Field Test in Louisiana: Second Quarterly Report, February 21 - May 21, 1989.

摘要

The ultimate objective of this research is to provide a base of knowledge on the CO sub 2 process for the enhanced recovery of Louisiana crude oil. First year goals of the project include laboratory corefloods to investigate several parameters important to the process, and numerical simulation to interpret coreflood results. Additional activities include construction of a field test data base, and development of a radial core setup. Second and third year goals include evaluation of field tests performed by the private sector, in conjunction with implementation of Department of Energy sponsored field tests. The results of all laboratory and field evaluations will be made available to the industry through one or more workshops. Results are briefly reported.
