The report presents a summary of the activities related to Unresolved Safety Issue (USI) A-17, 'Systems Interactions in Nuclear Power Plants,' and also includes the NRC staff's conclusions based on those activities. The staff's technical findings provide the framework for the final resolution of this unresolved safety issue. The final resolution will be published later as NUREG-1229.
