Compact RF-Linac Free-Electron Lasers.

摘要

Design studies using the INEX simulation methods are presented for an infrared compact rf-linac-driven FEL. The possibility of such a device relies upon two technological advances: a very bright electron beam from a linac with a photocathode injector, and a short-period, high-field wiggler. 10 refs., 6 figs., 3 tabs.
