摘要

This is the final report of the Degraded Piping Program, Phase II. The primary objective of the Degraded Piping Program is to verify and improve fracture mechanics analysis methods for nuclear power plant piping. Results of the program provide a basis, both now and in the future, for regulatory decisions related to the structural integrity of flawed piping, with specific application to leak-before-break (LBB) and in-service flaw assessments. The report summarizes the accomplishments of the Degraded Piping Program in three main areas. The first area includes technical results and is reported in Section 2. The second area, discussed in Section 3, is the significance of the technical work for LBB and in-service flaw evaluation criteria. The final area is identification of future needs for piping integrity evaluations, presented in Section 4.
