Ceramic Technology for Advanced Heat Engines project data base. Summary report, March 1989.

A large volume and wide variety of data on the behavior of advanced ceramic materials are currently being generated within the Ceramic Technology for Advanced Heat Engines (CTAHE) project. This is the third in a series of semiannual data summary reports and features all information now stored in the data base on silicon carbides and silicon nitrides, including whisker-reinforced silicon nitrides. A glossary defining many of the terms used in the data base and describing some of the standard properties tests used for ceramics has also been included in this report. 3 refs., 43 figs., 14 tabs.
