Performance test plan for variable-speed ac superconducting motor.

摘要

A test plan for evaluation of the performance characteristics of an axial-air-gap, variable-speed ac superconducting motor is presented in this report. A complete description of the electrical and mechanical apparatus and the instrumentation requirements is provided. Static and dynamic testing of the motor will enable comparison of a motor performance as a function of speed, load, and air-gap flux density with an analytical model.
