摘要

The purpose of this travel was twofold: (1) to meet with the managing directors of the ITER conceptual design activity to advance their evaluation and decision on a proposal to establish coordination among the existing fusion materials research and development programs of the ITER parties in support of the ITER design; and (2) to participate in a specialists meeting to evaluate current data and formulate a materials properties data base for use in the conceptual design phase of the ITER activity.
