The conference proceedings have been prepared in support of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Security Training Symposium on 'Meeting the Challenge-Firearms and Explosives Recognition and Detection,' November 28 through 30, 1989, in Bethesda, Maryland. The document contains the edited transcripts of the guest speakers. It also contains some of the speakers' formal papers that were distributed and some of the slides that were shown at the symposium (Appendix A).
