摘要

The US NRC's Nuclear Plant Aging Research (NPAR) Program has determined the susceptibility to aging of components and systems and the potential for aging to impact plant safety and availability. The NPAR Program also identified methods for detecting and mitigating aging in components. The report describes the NPAR results which can enhance NRC inspection activities. Recommendations are provided for communicating pertinent information to NRC inspectors.
