The invention relates to a method for the production of new anion exchangers that can be used in molecular biology, genetic engineering, biotechnology and phytopathology. According to the invention, halogen-containing polyurethanes are reacted with one or more tertiary amines. By the method according to the invention there are produced polyurethane shapes with positive surface charges from preformed shapes, with preservation of the form and properties thereof. The products according to the invention have thermally stable bonds with biomolecules together with high binding capacity.
