ADI-solver implemented on a 2D mesh of concurrent processors

In this study a parallel version of the ADI solver is presented. The parallel solver operates on a diffusion equation and the discretized calculation domain is decomposed in a 2D manner. The parallel program code takes advantage of the explicit features of the ADI in order to achieve higher efficiencies. Efficiencies over 50 % are observed when 4-32 concurrent processors are used
