Exponential curve fitting problem with data having near infinite slope close to the origin

When an attempt is made to fit a curve through sharply rising data, slight deviations will generate large variations in the mode. The purpose of this paper is to discuss a procedure to fit a curve through exponentially behaved data that rises sharply near the origin.
