Integrated model for the origin of The Geysers geothermal field.

摘要

Published information on the physical and geochemical characteristics of the Southeastern, Central and Northwestern Geysers reservoirs is examined. A model for the origin of the entire vapor-dominated geothermal system, based on its geological, geochemical and reservoir engineering characteristics, is proposed that agrees satisfactory with the observed field data.
