The purpose of DT-IIB was to conduct both technical and operational testing inorder to verify that the AN/SRC-54 Navy Shipboard Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) is performing to the required equipment/system specifications and that it meets the critical technical and operational performance parameters and threshold requirements of the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) No. 0706-01.
