Need For a NATO-UN Lend-Lease Program: A First Step and Why Only NATO Can Take Tt

摘要

This short paper will highlight the need for a better command and controlcapability for the UN in the area of peace operations. It will go on to point out that this current shortcoming could be covered by using existing NATO resources under a new form of lend-lease. It will then offer an opinion as to why NATO is the only existing organization that can initiate the process by voluntarily producing a global security estimate.
