In April-June 1996, Fort Knox contract archaeologists conducted a Phase I surveyof 95.6 ha (236.3 acres) and reexamined 50.0 ha (123.5 acres) in Rehabilitation Areas 1-5 and 9-11, Training Areas 8, 9, and 10, Fort Knox, Meade County, Kentucky.
