Adherence to and Compliance with Arms Control Agreements

This report is being submitted pursuant to the Congressional requirement inSection 51 of the Arms Control and Disarmament Act, which requires, as part of the ACDA Annual Report, a discussion on Adherence to and Compliance With Arms Control Agreements. Section 51, paragraph (1)(C) mandates the inclusion of a section setting out U.S. planned next steps with regard to each of the compliance questions raised. Details of the information contained in this Summary Report are contained in classified annexes provided under separate cover. This report, as well as the classified annexes, addresses compliance by nations that are parties or signatories to arms control agreements with the United States as well as U.S. compliance.
