Application of Simulation Within Training Courses of the Royal Netherlands Navy(Toepassingsmogelijkheden van simulatiemiddelen binnen opleidingen van de Koninklijke Marine)

摘要

This report answers the questions (1) what are the applications for simulators ingeneral and for the Royal Netherlands Navy in particular., and (2) how can a simulator be incorporated as a sound decision in the training trajectory. A distinction is made between simulator training, training with operational systems and conventional training. Furthermore, the report contains results of interviews with the schools of the RN1N to sketch the current situation and the future expectations with respect to education and training.
