The MERTS Field Research/Integrated Marine Technology Center has been completed and equipped, providing a highly modern facility for the staging and support of research, as well as for industry-standard training in marine-related fabrication and maintenance. Successful project completion is evidenced by (1) the Certificate of Occupancy; (2) consulting engineer's certificate of compliance with plans, specifications, and the State Building Code; (3) final building inspection certificates indicating conformance to State electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes; (4) complete list of equipment purchased; (5) documenting photos of completed building and selected equipment.
