In Vitro Toxicity of Nanoparticles in BRL 3A Rat Liver Cell Lines

The development of nanoscience has created rapid advancement in electronics, sensors, munitions and propulsion technology. Recently, nanomaterials have received enormous attention for their potential applications in biology and medicine. However, the adverse biological affect of these nanoparticles originating from current nanotechnology has not been studied. Further comparison of these results with other nanommaterials and using other in vitro cells originating from pulmonary and skin tissues are being pursued.
