Microvasculature Magnetic Resonance Imaging for the Diagnosis of Breast Cancer

摘要

The development of noninvasive methods for characterizing mammographically indeterminate lesions represents an active area of current research in medical imaging. In particular, much research effort is being directed toward the development of new techniques for measuring tumour blood flow. This thesis consists of experiments designed to evaluate the use of a magnetic resonance imaging technique called Intravoxel Incoherent Motion (IVIM) to produce microvascular flow images of breast lesions.
