Microbial Pathogenesis: Mechanisms of Infectious Diseases (Snowmass, Colorado July 4-9, 1998)

This grant provided partial support for a FASEB Summer Conference on 'Microbial Pathogenesis: Mechanisms of Infectious Diseases' that was held July 4-9, 1998 at Snowmass, Colorado. This unique conference brought together more than 70 scientists who study the pathogenesis of infectious diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. The success of the conference is shown by the unanimous vote of all who attended to meeting to hold a similar conference after several years.
