This report results from a contract tasking American University of Beirut as follows: It has been determined that the segregated class of algorithms and the many techniques developed for single fluid flow, has not been fully extended to multi-fluid flows. Thus the main objectives of this work are: (1) To extend the applicability of the available segregated class of algorithms for single fluid flow at all speeds to multi-fluid flow at all speeds; (2) To derive these algorithms using a unified, compact, and easy to understand notation that can be expanded systematically to yield the coefficients of the pressure correction equation, thus facilitating the implementation of these algorithms to a wider audience within the Computational fluid Dynamics (CFD) community; (3) To explain the philosophies behind these algorithms and to pinpoint their similarities and differences.
