Occupational Survey Report. Flight Attendant, SDI 8A000

The SDI 8A000 career ladder was surveyed to provide current job and task data for use in updating and/or developing career ladder documents and training programs. Survey results are based on responses from 117 Active Duty (AD) respondents, accounting for 70 percent of the total surveyed population. This is an extremely homogeneous career ladder, highlighted by the fact that only one specialty job was identified for this study-the 'Flight Attendant Job'. This job accounts for 115 of the 117 respondents. Thus, virtually all SDI 8A000 members perform the same core tasks, regardless of seniority or aircraft supported.
