The military critical biological technologies contained in this document provide a detailed an structured compendium of the technologies that the Department of Defense (DoD) assesses as critical for ensuring superior performance of future U.S. military systems or providing equal performance more affordably. DoD develops this documentation with the participation of other agencies of the United States Government, U.S. industry, and academia and updates it on an ongoing basis.
