This workshop dealt with the replacement of Structural components of aging aircraft with components manufactured from materials with specifications of a high qualification, thus enhancing various parameters including overall life cycle cost technology (LCC). The following topics were treated: - An Overview, - Aluminium Alloys and Composites, - Processing, Fatigue and Durability.
