This instruction immplements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 33-1, Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) Systems; Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Circular 310-70-79, MYSTIC STAR Network Management Manual and Users Guide, and Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 4650.2, Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS), January 26, 1998. It identifies responsibilities to implement and support Air Force high frequency (HF) radio, Personal Wireless Communication Systems (PWCS), and MARS.
