Assured Assembly Infrastructure (AAI) Toolkit

This technical report describes work performed on a project sponsored by DARPA/IPTOs Dynamic Assembly for Systems Adaptability, Dependability, and Assurance (DASADA) Program. Specifically, this project developed the Assured Assembly Infrastructure Toolkit (AAIT) which provides a collection of software and documented techniques to test a uniform assembly model for integrating heterogeneous system components. The AAI Toolkit also explicitly models gauges that measure and drive the dynamic assembly and reconfiguration of the software architecture. Through service contracts and real-time feedback, the AAI dynamically adapts system architectures to optimize system performance with respect to performance metrics.
