This report describes information gathered about institutes in the UK undertaking research into Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Environments (AMVE) for military applications of Virtual Reality. It also includes information on activities being undertaken in the civil sector that might be relevant to the military. The information is described under three heading: UK Defence (Dstl/QinetiQ work), UK Academic Institutions, and UK Commercial Companies.
