Explosively Bonded Gun Tube Liner Development.

摘要

The history of the Explosive Bonding Program is presented, starting at the initial Small Business Innovative Research Program in the late 1990s and continuing to the present. The program has been funded by different agencies throughout its history, with an emphasis on eliminating chromium coatings from gun tubes. The current state of the art is assessed through the use of Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
