摘要

The theory of the shear-induced particle migration is presented with numerical simulation results from multiple geometries using Poiseuille flow in a rectangular die. It appears that the functionally-grading of propellant strands can be generated upon shear-induced particle migration in propellant extrusion. The theory and the results obtained in this study with an inert simulant formulation demonstrate the utilities of the suggested methodologies and their practicality.
