摘要

The objective of this project was to test whether transient GPR data provide useful information for constraining hydrologic processes in the vadose zone and evaluate alternative methods for hydrologic model calibration using this data. Modeling studies compared sequential and coupled inversion strategies using GPR data as a constraint on unsaturated hydraulic parameters. The coupled inversion approach, where hydrologic and geophysical models are linked together into a single forward model, was found to be an effective strategy for estimation of the flow.
