I/ITSEC Tutorial: Return on Investment (ROI) for Modeling and Simulation

摘要

This tutorial will present Return-on-Investment (ROI) concepts and processes that can be used to determine the ROI of a model or simulation in any functional area by enabling the student to: 1) apply ROI terms, guidelines and formulas to their own M&S projects; 2) evaluate all costs / resources associated with an M&S program; 3) identify alternative methods of achieving goals; and 4) calculate the ROI of an M&S program based on quantitative and qualitative criteria.
