System Capabilities Analytic Process (SCAP) as Presented at the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) 26th Annual National Test and Evaluation (T&E) Conference on March 2, 2010

The System Capabilities Analytic Process (SCAP) is an emerging methodology, which allows a person who is analyzing a system to determine that system's remaining capability after the loss of critical components. The methodology was presented at the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) 26th Annual National Test and Evaluation (T&E) Conference on March 2, 2010 with the intent to share this paradigm with the Department of Defense (DoD) community and to solicit feedback on ways to improve SCAP. The conference theme was how to improve the ways the DoD will analyze, test, and evaluate networked system-of-systems (SoS). SCAP was shown as a way to correlate how the dysfunction of one system can impact the capabilities of a SoS.
