The material in this Test Operations Procedure (TOP) is intended to provide guidance for the planning and conduct of a human factors engineering (HFE) analysis of the Soldier-computer interface (SCI), during development testing (DT) by the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC). The procedures and criteria contained herein will analyze the adequacy of those aspects of the software, hardware, and workspace design for the test function of operability that influence operator performance in a computer-based system.
