This test has been designed for use in instructor training courses conducted at the School, and to meet the increased demand of Armored School students for materials which they can use in presenting similar courses in their units. Materials in this text supplement FM 21-5, Military Training. The basic principles, methods, and techniques of military instruction are presented here for the individual instructor's improvement and to provide subject matter which the military leader can use in his training of instructions. The last chapter deals with the basic considerations and problems involved in setting up and conducting an instructor training course. This chapter will serve as a guide to the officer or noncommissioned officer who is charged with the instructional methods phase of cadre training, leadership schools, NCO academies, or refresher training.
