SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE USE OF WATER MODELS IN THE STUDY OF AIR FLOW PROBLEMS

This paper discusses some of the considerations taken into account when deciding upon suitable scales for the model, and the best fluid medium to use, and relates only to those problems in air flow where compressibility effects may be neglected and the flow patterns are governed mainly by the viscosity, and velocity of the fluid, and the shapes of the passages.
