This memorandum presents charts that may be used to estimate the acoustic measurement capabilities of an underwater sound measurement facility. One chart shows the magnitude of acoustic interference from reflecting surfaces when continuous-wave measurements are made on an omni-directional transducer. Two charts show the interdependence of transducer size, transducer Q, test depth, test distance, and frequency for pulsed-sound measurements. (Author)
