This scheme takes into accounts a) the maximum permissible fuel temperature (~400 °C);b) the mechanical safety of fuel;o) the safety against burnout;d) the coolant pressure drops.nIt is possible) apart from some simplifying assumption, to calculate thermal stresses, temperatures and, to a lesser degree, pressure drops with a reasonable approximation.nOn the contrary burnout phenomena are for the time being not very well known and the burnout relationship proposed up to now seems to be rather uncertain.
