Research on Photoelastic Stress Analysis for Turbine Discs with North Influences

As no quarterly status report has been provided to cover the progress of work carried on from 1st October until 31st December 1958 the present Annual Report contains in its first section a brief summary of the state of experimental work as of 31st December 1958, even though such experimentsnWere not yet concluded or definitely evaluated. As the program of test series was still enlarged during the course of experimental work, such tests could not be completed by the end of 1958. At present, negotiations are being conducted with regard to continuing an expanded program in the year 1959.
